It was very hard luck to St. Vincents in yesterday’s Leinster Senior Football Quarter Final as Rathnew of Wicklow advance to the Semi Finals following their victory.

But there are still teams left competing in this year’s Club Championship with 4 massive games this weekend in Football, Ladies Football and Hurling.

Ballyboughal are flying the flag for men’s football outside the county competitions, and after coming through two games to finally send Emo of Laois out of the Leinster Intermediate Football Championship, they now entertain Meath club Curraha for the competition’s Semi Final on Saturday afternoon.

Should Ballyboughal be successful they’ll have a one week turnaround to prepare to face Wexford side Kilanerin in the championship final. Ballyboughal should have home advantage for this weekend’s game but it has yet to be confirmed by Leinster.

later that afternoon the Foxrock Cabinteely Ladies continue their quest for Senior All Ireland glory and will take the next step using Bray Emmets for home advantage. They welcome Mourneabbey to Bray for what will be a huge encounter. Throw in is down for 3:00pm

First up on Sunday afternoon, Cuala’s Ladies Football Panel will travel to Monaghan to compete for a place in this year’s All Ireland Junior Ladies Football Final as they face Corduff in the Semis. Throw in is at 1:00pm.

And last but by no means least, reigning Dublin, Leinster and All Ireland Senior Hurling Champions Cuala will welcome St. Martin’s of Wexford to Parnell Park to contest the Leinster Senior Hurling Semi Final. The winners will face Kilcormac-Killoughey or Mount Leinster Rangers in this year’s provincial final on December 3rd.

So whether its Ballyboughal, Foxrock Cabinteely or Cuala your backing this weekend, make sure to wrap up and get out and support our Dublin clubs in their championship competitions.
