It’s another busy Wednesday evening of club action with a host of Dublin LGFA club championship round 3 fixtures down for decision acros the Senior, Intermediate and Junior A and B competitions.

In Group A of the Senior championship Thomas Davis, who currently sit top of the group thanks to wins over Clanna Gael Fontenoy and St Brigids will look to make it three from three when they host Cuala.

The other game in the group sees the meeting of St Brigids and Kilmacud Crokes at Russell Park. St Brigids beat Cuala in round one but suffered a heavy defeat last week against Davis and will look to bounce back to winning ways this evening.

But Crokes will provide a stern test for the hosts and impressed last week in their comprehensive 6-22 to 0-02 victory over Clanna Gael Fontenoy and will be determined to make it two wins in a row ahead of what could be a top of the group clash with Thomas Davis in the next round.

In Group B of the senior championship Ballyboden St Endas play hosts to Na Fianna in a vital game for both sides. Ballyboden have lost their opening two games against St Sylvesters and last week against Foxrock Cabinteely. A third loss this evening will end Borden’s slim chance of reaching the knockout stages.

Na Fianna narrowly lost their opening group game in round one to Foxrock in what was a repeat of last seasons county final.

The Mobhi Road outfit had a bye week in round two and will be eager to record their first win of this years competition, particularly if they are to ambitions of repeating last years run to the final.
