The day has finally arrived.
Greg McGonigle’s Senior Ladies Football Panel start their march in this year’s All Ireland Championship. They make the trip to Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford to tackle a Donegal side who stole a victory from Galway in the dying seconds on Bank Holiday Monday to advance to today’s Quarter Final.
The game today is expected to be very hotly contested, and based on Donegal’s last performance in the championship Dublin will be expecting a big challenge from the Ulster side.
It’s been over a month since Dublin have seen competitive action and will be gunning to get out of the block today. The management have kept faith in the starting 15 that beat Westmeath in the Leinster Final. Today also sees the return of Muireann Ni Scanaill and Fiona Hudson from injury to further bolster the teams muscle.
