Can Dublin win a fifth All Ireland Championship in a row? We’ll be at GAA HQ with Live Updates All Afternoon

Live Updates - TG4 Senior Football Championship

Dublin v Meath
Sunday, September 5th. 4:15pm
Croke Park, Dublin

It’s a massive afternoon of football at Croke Park as three All Ireland Ladies Football will be decided. And after the Junior and Intermediate titles have been decided, all eyes will be on the biggest finale in the LGFA Championship season.

Mick Bohan’s Dublin Senior panel will lok to emulate former Cork and Kerry teams and join the elite group of five-in-a-row All Ireland winners. Who’d have thought after Dublin lost three All Ireland deciders on the bounce, we could be witnessing the county battle for a fifth title in succession.

In the run up to their fifth decider, Dublin have contested finals against Mayo, Galway and Cork. But today they face a different challenge in a rising entity that is the Meath Senior Football panel. Having only regained Senior status after capturing last year’s Intermediate title, this is a Meath side on the rise. And anyone that doubts the talent in their ranks only has to look back at their recent victory over Cork in the Championship Semi Final.

Fans have been chomping at the bit for weeks at teh thoughts of 2 Leinster sides contesting the biggest prize in Ladies Football. And the wait is nearly over. Can Dublin make history? Or will Meath be the team to bring an end to a golden era in Dublin Ladies Football.
