It’s now official, Mick Bohan is the Dublin Ladies Senior Football manager after his appointment was ratified at last nights county board meeting in Parnell Park.
Bohan was announced as the interim manager before Christmas with his full appointment subject to ratification at the next county board meeting after the festive break which was last night.
This will be Mick Bohan’s second stint in charge of the Dublin Senior Ladies Footballers, he previously led Dublin into their very first All Ireland Final back in 2003 where they lost to Mayo by two points.
Bohan’s management team working along side him in 2017 will include two of his former players, Niamh McEvoy from Parnells and Sorcha Farrelly of Ballyboden St Enda’s, Ken Robinson and Tony Diamond will complete the backroom team.
Mick takes over a very talented squad who have reached the last three All Ireland Finals in a row and have been unlucky not to have won the big one.
Bohan will look to use his wealth of experience and knowledge to improve the squad that 1 or 2 percent extra that will take them that one step further and lift the Brendan Martin Cup in September.
Dublin get their competitive season up and running with a home fixture in their opening Lidl National Football League game against Monaghan on the 29th Of January.
