MICHELLE Davoren from Dublin club Kilmacud Crokes has been honoured with The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for September 2022.

Davoren, 27, was in superb form for Crokes as they were crowned Dublin Senior champions for the very first time with victory over Thomas Davis at Parnell Park on September 23.

Davoren, a former All-Ireland U21 winner with Dublin, collected the Player of the Match award and registered 0-2 in a performance that followed another stellar display in the semi-final win over St Sylvester’s, when the Green Party Communications Officer notched 1-4.

Having suffered Dublin SFC Final defeats in 2019 and 2020, Crokes finally landed the Holy Grail in the county and are now looking forward to a Leinster quarter-final clash with provincial champions Dunboyne from Meath on Sunday.
