We’ll take the trip to O’Moore Park this afternoon as the Dublin Ladies look to retain their Leinster Crown
Dublin v Meath
Leinster Senior Ladies Football Final
Sunday, May 28th. 4:15pm
Laois Hire O’Moore Park, Portlaoise
In a repeat of last year’s Leinster Ladies Football decider, Dublin and Meath will once again do battle in what has become a rivalry for the ages. Mick Bohan’s side are looking to make it three win from three over their provincial neighbours this year. And more importantly keep a tight grip on the Leinster Crown for another year.
Dublin have secured a league and provincial win over Meath so far this season. In January they saw off Meath on a 1-11 to 0-08 scoreline in the LIDL National Football League. And a few weeks ago they left Pairc Tailteann with a narrow 1-06 to 0-07 victory in the bag after a moe than physical encounter. But a win today would see Dublin secure a 10th conesecutive Leinster title, their 14th in 15 seasons.
Meath will be out to stop Dublin’s reign ahead of what will be another exciting All Ireland Series.
