What a way to kick off a Leinster Senior Ladies Football campaign with reigning Leinster Champions Dublin facing reigning All Ireland Champions Meath. And from experience we know that clashes between thes two sides have become collosal match ups over the last few years.
It feels like an age since the 2 sides met in this year’s LIDL National League opener at DCU St. Clares and on that occasion Dublin closed out the game as 1-11 to 0-08 winners. But that will have no bearing on today’s tustle in Navan.
Home advantage will favour Meath here but that won’t deter a new look Dublin in a repeat of last year’s Leinster decider. And many believe this will be the pairing when they trophy is given a home this year.
