We’re off to Bray Emmets this afternoon for the 2022 Leinster LGFA Senior Club Final between Kilmacud Crokes and Tinaheley
Kilmacud Crokes v Tinaheley
Sunday, November 6th. 1:00pm
Bray Emmets GAA Club
This afternoon there is one certainty and that’s new Leinster Ladies Senior Champions will be crowned. Dublin Champions Kilmacud Crokes write a new chapter into their history books participating in their first ever final after seeing off the challenges of Dunboyne in the Quarter Finals and Naomh Ciarán in the last four. Wicklow Champions Tinaheley progressed from the county final to secure wins over Milltown and Eadestown to book their slot in this afternoon’s provincial decider.
This is the first time Crokes have had the opportunity to challenge for Leinster Silverware since capturing the Intermediate title back in 2014, beating Sarsfields by 2-10 to 1-08 in the decider.
Tinaheley on the other hand are no stranger to Leinster action recently. This year saw them secure their eight Wicklow title in succession. Last year they lost out on a slot in the Senior Final when Dunboyne beat them in extra time in the semis. So both today’s finalists will want to walk away the victor for many different reasons.
