Earlier this week in the Croke Park Hotel we sat down with Dublin Ladies Senior Football Captain Sinead Aherne to talk about today’s League Final.
Dublin in a repeat of the 2017 All Ireland Final will battle with Mayo in Parnell Park on Sunday afternoon for Division one league honours.
Sinead gave us her thoughts on opponents Mayo, where the threats will come from and the expectation of a physical encounter in the final.
She also spoke about Dublin’s disappointment with their performance in the semi final, particularly not being able to impose themselves on the proceedings.
Dublin went through their league campaign losing just one game and Sinead named the players that she felt impressed throughout their run of league games.
Surprisingly Dublin are searching for their first ever Division 1 title and that statistic is a testament to how tough Division 1 is to win and also how many quality of the sides are battling for honours.
