The Dublin Senior Ladies Footballers Are holding a meet and greet with fans this coming Friday September the 6th at 8pm in DCU Sports Complex (St Clare’s).

Mick Bohan’s side face Galway in the 2019 TG4 Senior All Ireland ladies football championship final In Croke Park On the 15th of September.

This will be the Dublin senior ladies sixth All Ireland Final in-a-row and the girls in blue are chasing a third straight championship title.

Dublin and Galway met in last year’s championship at the semi finals stage and it was the sky blues who prevailed on a scoreline of 4-08 to 1-10 and advanced to the championship decider were they beat Cork.

Dublin reached this year’s decider by beating old rivals Cork in the semi-finals on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-11. The two goals in the game from Caoimhe O’Connor and captain Sinead Aherne proved to be the pivotal scores at the final whistle.

Galway secured a dramatic one point win in their semi-final against Connaught neighbors Mayo with the final score 2-10 to 2-09 to earn a place in the TG4 All Ireland Final for the first time since 2005.

Friday’s meet and greet is the perfect opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with the reigning All Ireland champions and wish the girls the best of luck in the final and also get photos and autographs.

Last year’s event was a brilliant occasions as fans packed DCU and supporters both young and old throughly enjoyed the occasion mingling with the Dublin stars who were so accommodating and generous with their time.

DCU (St Clare’s) is located off the Ballymun Road. Take the same entrance signposted for the Glasnevin Tennis Club which is on the left before the Circle K petrol station.
