The 2016 championship season to date has been a very successful one for the Dublin Senior, Minor and U16 Ladies footballers.
Over the last number of the weeks all three squads have won their respective Leinster Championship titles and the Minors and U16’s have gone on to qualify for their grades All Ireland finals.
The first of those All Ireland Finals takes place next Wednesday in McDonagh Park in Nenagh at 7pm.
Then on the August bank holiday Monday the Dublin Minors will come face to face with their old nemesis Cork in the All Ireland Final, the venue and throw-in for that game are still to be confirmed.
On the 13th of August it will be the turn of the Senior squad to take to the field in the TG4 All Ireland quarter final, against either Donegal or Galway. Dublin will be aiming to get to their third All Ireland Final in a row and get their hands on the Brendan Martin Cup.
This level of success doesn’t just happen, it takes a huge amount of work, effort and sacrifice from all the players and their management teams, so a big hats off to all involved.
The best way for supporters to show their gratitude for all that effort is to come out and support the teams and get right behind them as they bid for further glory.
Next Wednesday evening Dublin’s Ladies Footballers start their bid to win a treble of All Ireland titles, so it’s the perfect opportunity for Dublin supporters to make their presence felt by travelling in huge numbers to all upcoming games and roar our Dublin teams on to All Ireland glory.
