Dublin’s Emma McCormack has been chosen as the Leinster Young Player of the Year for 2017.

Emma had an excellent season for the Dublin U16’s which included a stunning performance in the Leinster Final Against Meath where she helped herself to 1-01 and also scooped the Player of the Match Award as Emma played a major part in helping Dublin claim an 8th U16 title in a row.

Emma plays her club football with Fingallians Gaa club and her performances this season have certainly earmarked her as a player to watch out for in the future. This is the second year in a row that a Dublin player has won the Leinster Young Player Of The Year award. Caoimhe O’Connor from Clontarf GAA Club won the accolade in 2016.

Emma will receive her award at the TG4 All Stars Banquet in CityWest Hotel on Saturday 25th November.
