Dublin And Kerry Meet For The Second Year In A Row In The Senior Championship Quarter Finals

A Dublin and Kerry Ladies footballer in action last year both sides meet again in the 2019 TG4 All Ireland Senior championship quarter finals.

This coming Monday Dublin and Kerry meet for the second year in a row in the TG4 All Ireland senior championship quarter finals with the game taking place at 4.45pm in Bord na Móna O’Connor Park in Tullamore.

The two teams are getting very familiar with each other at the knockout stages of the championship as they also met in the 2017 All Ireland championship semi final.

Dublin have come out on top in the two previous championship meetings, in 2017 the Dubs struck five goals past Kerry to claim a 5-10 to 0-11 victory and a place in the All Ireland Final.

The goals coming from Sinead Aherne and Noelle Healy with a pair apiece and Nicole Owens with the other.

In last season meeting between the teams Dublin again recorded another emphatic win over the ladies from The Kingdom with the final score 3-19 to 1-07. Sinead Aherne was once again among the goals and Niamh McEvoy and Hannah O’Neill joined her in raising green flags.

Dublin have impressed so far in the championship with high scoring wins over Westmeath in the Leinster Final and Waterford and Monaghan in the group stages of the All ireland series.
