Dublin and Cork meet in the TG4 Senior Championship semi final for the first time in four years

The Dublin team has been named for this Saturdays TG4 Senior championship semi-final meeting with Cork in Semple Stadium in Thurles.
Dublin manager Mick Bohan and his selectors make just the one change to the Dubs starting fifteen from that which defeated Donegal in the quarter finals a couple of weeks ago.
Coming into the side is St Brigids Ellen Gribben in place of Niamh Donlon while experienced duo Niamh Hetherton and Sinéad Aherne are once more held in reserve.
This time a the first time in four years Dublin and Cork have met in the championship semi-finals with the Sky blues coming out on top in that 2019 meeting by 2-11 to 0-11.
In fact Dublin have won the last three championship meetings between these two titans of the ladies game, as well as the above semi final meeting, Dublin won the All Ireland finals of 2018 by 3-11 to 1-12 and 2020 by 1-10 to 1-05.
