Dublin Team Named To Face Galway In The Lidl Ladies National Football League

Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1

Dublin v Galway

Sunday March 25th

Venue: Abbotstown

Throw-In: 1.30pm

Mick Bohan has announced his Dublin senior ladies football starting 15 for tomorrow’s Lidl ladies national football league division one clash with Galway at 1.30pm in Abbotstown.

There a number of changes to the side that defeated Mayo the last day out. Cuala’s Jennifer Dunne makes her starting debut in the Dublin engine room, Rebecca McDonnell starts in the full forward and Sinead Goldrick comes back into the halfback line having missed the game against Mayo.

Dublin sit top of the table with four wins from four and a fifth win in a row against Galway tomorrow will edge Bohan’s charges ever closer to a semi final spot.

Galway sit in fourth place with two wins, a draw and a loss from their four opening fixtures. The girls from the West have looked impressive in patches and will certainly give Dublin a test tomorrow.

But the girls in blue have been motoring along nicely to date, their phenomenally high work rate, solid defence and slick attack has made them a formidable foe for opposing teams.

Galway are seen as an emerging team but they will face a proper examination of the credentials tomorrow afternoon and by the full time whistle will have a real gauge of their progress.

But as far as the result goes it hard to look beyond a fifth win for Dublin particularly with Noelle Healy In sparkling form and scoring threats coming from all sectors of the Sky Blues team.
