TG4 Senior All Ireland Football Championship Quarter Final
Dublin v Waterford
Saturday August 12th
Venue: Nolan Park, Kilkenny
Throw-In: 4:45pm

Croke Park confirmed today that the venue for Dublin’s quarter final fixture against Waterford will be Nowlan Park in Kilkenny.

Dublin and Waterford will get underway at 4:45pm followed by Kerry and Armagh at 6:30pm. Both games will be shown LIVE on TG4.

It’s ten years since both sides have met in the championship, on that occasion Dublin were victorious by a single point by 3-09 to 3-08.

Both sides have travelled different routes to reach this Saturday’s All Ireland quarter final. Dublin beat Laois and Westmeath on route to claiming their sixth Leinster title in a row.

Waterford recorded victories against Kerry and Cork in the group stages of the Munster championship before losing to Kerry in the provincial final. That sent them into the qualifiers against Cavan and it took a late goal in added time for The Déise to set up a date with Mick Bohan’s Dublin side.

The lopsided nature of the TG4 Senior Ladies Football championship and means Saturday’s game will be Waterford’s fifth game between their provincial campaign and qualifier match.

Dublin on the other hand have only played two games to date, the Leinster semi-final and Final and have had a ridiculously long five week gap between their provincial final and this weekends game.

Admission Prices to this Saturday’s quarter final are as follows:

Adult: €10
Student/Senior Citizen: €5
Children Under 16: Free
