The Dublin Under 16 Squad Got Their Leinster Campaign Off To A Winning Start

A Dublin ladies footballer in action during a game, Dublin got their Leinster Under 16 championship off to a winning start.

Leinster Under 16 Championship:

The Dublin U16’s got their 2020 Leinster Under 16 Championship campaign underway last Saturday with a comprehensive win over Wexford.

Full credit to both teams for playing the game in very challenging weather conditions.

Thank you to St Patricks GAA for hosting the game after the original venue Naomh Bríd GAA club Blackwater became unplayable.

Up next, Dublin play Westmeath in the second round of the championship on the 14th of March away.

Lidl National Football League:

The 5th round of the NFL takes place this Sunday March 8th with Dublin away to Waterford. Details on venue / time are still to be confirmed by the LGFA.

March County Committee Meeting:

A meeting of the Dublin County Board will take place this coming Tuesday March 3rd at 7.30pm in Parnell Park.

Note club delegates must be registered LGFA members in order to have speaking and voting rights at county board meetings reminder also that one out of the three club delegates must be a registered adult female player.

Dublin Senior Team Fundraising Golf Classic:

A golf classic to raise funds for the Dublin senior team will take place on the 17th of April next in Balcarrick Golf club.

The event will get underway at 1.30pm with a shot-gun start. Team of four €500 which includes dinner (served 6pm), with additional sponsorship opportunities Tee Box €150, Green €100, Fairway €100. For more info please contact John Caffrey 0876917295
