July County Board meeting takes place this Tuesday the 18th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. All clubs are requested to have a delegate in attendance. The draw for the U13 cup and U14 championships will take place on Tuesday night U15 to Minor draws will be conducted at the August County Board meeting. The minutes of the June meeting along with the agenda for the July meeting will be issued to clubs in advance of the meeting by County Secretary, Mary O’Connor.

Congratulations to our U14 team who won the Leinster blitz on Saturday in total Dublin have four teams competing in the blitz and all four teams represented the County with great distinction.

A reminder to all clubs that the wearing of gum shields is now mandatory for ALL footballers both Juvenile and Adult (Rule 413 of the Official Guide.

It has come to the attention of the County Board that in recent week referees have noted a high percentage of ADULT players who have taken to the field with no gum shield.

Key Points To Note: It is the responsibility of each individual player to use a mouth guard. Players will be ordered off in a game for not wearing a mouth guard and will remain off the pitch until the situation is rectified. Players will not be covered under the Injury Fund if they don’t comply with the mouth guard rule.
