Dublin LGFA Urge Fans To Arrive Early And Support The Ladies Senior Football Team Against Mayo

On Saturday week the 24th of February at 5pm the Dublin senior ladies footballers take on Mayo in round 4 of the Lidl Ladies National Football League in Elverys McHale Park.

The game forms part of a double-header and will be followed by Dublin senior men’s team facing off against their counterparts from Mayo in the Allianz National Football with that game throwing in at 7pm.

Both games are repeats of last season’s senior All Ireland finals.

Dublin LGFA are urging Dublin followers who are making the trip west to Castlebar to please come along early and show the girls your support in what is expected to be a keenly contested game!

The hashtags #BackingEveryStep and #SeriousSupport will be very evident in the lead up to the games and the ladies team deserve both from Dublin supporters on Saturday week.

Just like the men’s team the senior ladies team  are the current All Ireland champions, that alone merits supporters to get behind them and turn up in huge numbers for their game.

But that alone is not the only reason to get behind the team, they also deserve support from the famed Dublin fans for all the sacrifice, commitment, effort they give to the jersey and the pride and joy they give to the county.

The Dublin ladies are chasing their first ever division 1 league title, they have had an excellent start to the campaign with three wins from their opening three games and sit at the top of the table.

A fourth league win in a row against Mayo on the 24th of February would give Dublin one foot in the semi finals and a step closer to that elusive league title.

Support from fans is important for all games, but even more so away from home and the Dublin ladies would appreciate as much support at their game as possible on the 24th.

So the call goes out to all Dublin supporters making the trip West, arrive early and roar and shout the Ladies on victory and another step closer to league title glory.
