The Dublin LGFA Senior and Intermediate club championships have reached the final round of group games

It’s a huge night of football as the Dublin LGFA Senior and Intermediate club championship reach the final round of group games with semi final places up for grabs.
There are also vital points up for grabs for teams looking to avoid heading to the relegation play-offs.
Also this evening sees the conclusion of the Junior A championship with O’Dwyers facing Raheny in the final in Lawless Park in Swords. And the Junior B competition has reached the semi final stage.
In Group A of the senior championship Thomas Davis have bye week having completed their four games and are through to the semi finals. Kilmacud Crokes are also through to the semi’s and play their final group game against Cuala looking to make it four wins from four.
At the other end of the table the bottom two sides Clanna Gael Fontenoy and St Brigids meet in Ringsend with the home side looking to record their first points of this years championship and St Brigids hoping to secure their second win of the campaign and move up the table away from the relegation trap-door.
All eyes though will be on Group B where four teams are all in contention for a semi final slot.
St Sylvesters host reigning champions Foxrock Cabinteely at their Broomfield venue. Foxrock currently sit in first place in the group with seven points, Sylvesters are third in the group on six points and need a win to guarantee their place in the semi’s.
For Foxrock a draw will be sufficient to see them through, but they won’t be playing for that result and will be looking to head into the semi finals on the back of a win.
The other game in the group sees Na Fianna take on Clontarf in St Annes. Na Fianna currently sit second in the table and a win tonight will guarantee last years beaten finalists a semi final slot and they will be just sixty odd minutes away from a return to the county decider.
Clontarf are fourth in the table on four points, a victory over Na Fianna this evening and a win for Foxrock will see them grab the final semi final spot.
If St Sylvesters beat Foxrock and Clontarf win then themselves and Foxrock will be tied on seven points apiece and as both sides played out a draw in an earlier round, it will come down to score difference to decide which team goes through.
So there is a tense evening ahead across all grades this evening with plenty on the line. The full list of all this evening’s Dublin LGFA Senior, Intermediate and Junior A and B club championship fixtures are below.
