The Dublin LGFA 2021 club championship has reached the final stage at Senior, Intermediate and Junior A level

A ladies Gaelic football and a cone on a pitch, the Dublin LGFA 2021 Club Championship finals at Senior, Intermediate and Junior levels take place this weekend.

It’s another big week in the Dublin LGFA 2021 Club championship with the Senior, Intermediate and Junior A finalist now known after completion of the semi finals last weekend.

All three finals take place this coming weekend, the senior final takes place on Friday evening in Parnell Park and Lawless Memorial Park in Swords is the venue on Sunday for the intermediate and junior final.

Under the Parnell Park lights on Friday evening at 7.30pm reigning champions Foxrock Cabinteely will appear in their seventh county final in a row after seeing off southside rivals Ballyboden St Endas by ten points in last weekends semi-final.

Their opponents in the final will be Na Fianna who are appearing in the final for the first time since 2014. The Mobhi Road outfit seen off the challenge of Cuala in the semi final with the full-time score 3-11 to 2-08.

Their 2021 final opponents will be Na Fianna. The Glasnevin girls saw off the challenge from a spirited Cuala outfit to book their place in the final for the first time since their last championship title win in 2014.

On Sunday all eyes will switch to the home of Fingallians as Lawless Memorial Park hosts the Intermediate and Junior A club championship finals.

First up at 2pm is the Dublin LGFA Junior A club championship final with last years beaten finalists looking to go one better this year. Judes had to battle hard against O’Dwyers in the semi final but came out the right side of the result in a very tight encounter.

Their opponents in Sundays final are surprise package Clontarf B who prevailed in their equally tight semi final against Scoil Ui Chonaill with the full-time score 2-08 to 1-10.

And finally on Sunday at 3.45pm will be the Intermediate club championship final, Castleknock booked their place in this seasons county decider following a two point win over Skerries Harps in last weekends semi final with the game ending 2-12 to 2-10.

Their final opponents are a free scoring St Sylvesters sides determined to return to the Senior ranks after relegation to the Intermediate level last season. Sylvesters enjoyed a comfortable victory by 5-15 to 2-07 over St Maurs in the semi finals.
