Dublin Ladies club football returns on the 17th of July
Dublin Ladies club football returns in ten days time with the opening fixtures in the Adult League Cup competition.
Teams from all across the county make up the ten divisions of the eagerly awaited competition with an array of exciting fixtures to look forward too.
County champions Foxrock Cabinteely get their campaign underway with a big southside derby at home to Ballyboden St Endas in Group 1 of Division 1.
Another mouthwatering tie in the same division and group is the meeting in Pairc De Burca between Kilmacud Crokes last years county finalists and Thomas Davis who gave eventual county champions Foxrock the fright of their lives in last years ladies football championship semi-finals.
The other fixture in the group is between Clanna Gael Fontenoy and Cuala who enjoyed some tense encounters last season and has all the hallmarks to produce yet another exciting game.
In group two of Division 1 Fingallians welcome the visit of Parnells to Lawless Park. Fingallians are a tough outfit to beat on their home patch, but Parnells have impressed over the last couple of seasons and this will be an intriguing game.
St Brigids get their campaign up and running with a home tie against St Sylvesters. There will be a number of Dublin senior ladies squad members lining out for both teams and this one could be one of the ties of the opening fixtures.
The final group 2 game will see Castleknock hosts 2018 All Ireland Intermediate club champions Clontarf to Somerton. Both sides are well capable of racking up big scores so this fixture could be a high scoring affair.
Games across all ten divisions on Friday week will throw-in at 7.30pm and the full list of fixtures is below.
