We’ll have all the action from this afternoon’s All Ireland Quarter Final in Rathleague

All Ireland U14 Ladies Football Quarter Final

Dublin v Longford
Saturday, June 1st. 2:45pm
Portlaoise GAA, Rathleague

A massive day for Dublin’s U14 ladies as they head for Rathleague in the hope of continuing their great run of form in the All Ireland Series. Longford await the girls in blue in the last eight of the competition in what should be a very entertaining contest.

The competition, which took a different structure this year got underway back at the beginning of May. Dublin were paired in Stage 1 with Ulster A Champions Antrim, Munster B Champions Tipperary, and Leinster B Runners up Westmeath.

From there they continued to Stage 2 and a trip to Monaghan at the end of the month. They opened the day playing the hosts, followed by games against Down and Armagh. Their opening game saw them suffer a loss to Monaghan by 6-08 to 3-05. But that didn’t dampen their spirit and they recovered well against Down, winning by 3-10 to 3-07. And finishing the day strong they trounced Armagh by 5-13 to 0-02.
