The Dublin Senior B Hurling Final throws in at Parnell Park tomorrow at 5:00pm

Last year’s beaten Senior B Hurling Semi Finalists Thomas Davis will square off against newcomers Scoil Ui Chonaill in what promises to be an entertaining Final tomorrow at Donnycarney HQ.
And for Scoil it’s truly mouth watering having only come up from the Intermediate Championship 12 months ago. But having opened their campaign with a win over Raheny, things took a turn for the worst. They suffered defeats at the hands of Ballyboden St. Endas, Crumlin and Na Fianna. But a walkover against St. Patrick’s Palmerstown gave them a lifeline and saw them through to the knock out stages.
They faced an uphill battle against Group 2 winners Kilmacud Crokes, who had only lost one game in five coming into the game, But Scoil put in an impressive performance, beating the stillorgan side by 2-14 to 1-11. In the last four they made amends for the loss in the rounds against Na Fianna by beating them 1-17 to 1-11 to book their place in tomorrow’s final.
Thomas Davis finished the Group 2 round robin in third position. After a defeat to Castleknock in Round 1 they tied their second and third games against Crokes and Naomh Barrog. But two wins against Cuala and Naomh Olaf got them over the line and into the Quarter Finals. A goal seperated them and Ballyboden St. Endas at the end of the last eight clash with Thomas Davis the winners on a 1-15 to 0-15 scoreline. Crumlin were their Semi Final opponents and Davis were winners on September 22nd by 2-16 to 1-12.
Both sides go into tomorrow’s game knowing they’ll playing at the highest level next year. But who will be heading into the Dublin Senior A Championship as Senior B Champs.
