Liam Rushe will make his return to the Dublin Senior Hurlers.
With Dublin’s Senior Hurlers only days away from the start of their League Division 1B campaign, more familiar names are still returning to the fold.
Sidelined last year with a groin injury, former captain Liam Rushe is now set to make a return to the senior panel, again bolstering Pat Gilroy’s plan for rebuilding.
The St. Pats Palmerstown player has been a loyal and integral part of the Dublin set up for many years. Since his senior debut in 2009, Liam has been through both the rough and the smooth, but the fruit of his dedication has been a League Title, a Leinster Championship medal, and 2 All Star Awards.
While this weekend’s clash with Offaly may come too soon for Rushe, there’s no doubt he should be relishing the thoughts of getting back into action along with some other returning colleagues like Danny Sutcliffe, Conal Keaney and Joey Boland.
