We’ll bring all the action with live updates this afternoon from Croke Park where Dublin will clash once more with Galway

Live Updates - Dublin v Galway

Dublin v Galway
Saturday, July 3rd. 2:00pm
Croke Park Dublin

While the Dublin Senior hurlers may have found last week’s win over Antrim a comfortable affair, today’s task is a little more difficult. But Dublin fands will be hoping for a rebel rousing tie when the Tribemen of Galway arrive at Croke Park this afternoon. And we’ll have live updates throughout the proceedings.

You only have to go back to 2019 when Dublin historically beat Galway in the last round of the Leinster Hurling Championship, spoiling the party for the men from the west.

It might not be Parnell Park today, but Mattie Kenny’s men will be hoping to bring their A game to GAA HQ playing for a place in this year’s provincial decider.

Eight of the men that started that famous game 2 years ago are starting today. Alan Nolan, Paddy Smyth, Eoghan O’Donnell, Chris Crummey, Sean Moran, Danny Sutcliffe, Cian Bolan and Liam Rushe were all vital components in that game, as they will be today.

Ronan Hayes and Daire Gray, who both start this afternoon, were substitutes in the 2019 provincial clash that saw Galway out of the Championship and Dublin advance to the All Ireland Preliminaries.

Will we be served another classic this afternoon? We’ll just have to wait and see.
