Cuala v Dicksboro (Kilkenny)
Sunday, November 5th. 2:00pm
Parnell Park, Dublin.

Parnell Park will definitely feel like home this Sunday afternoon as reigning provincial champions Cuala will start the defence of their Leinster crown against tough Kilkenny opposition.

Newly crowned Kilkenny hurling champions Dicksboro will travel to Dublin following their historic victory over James Stephens, earning them their fifth county title, their first since 1993. And it was veritable goal fest in Nowlan Park with a final score of 4-15 to 4-10.

Cuala turned the screw on Saturday to clinch their third Dublin Senior Hurling title on the bounce and will be looking forward to defending their Leinster and All Ireland trophies.

The boys in red from Dalkey face Kilkenny opposition a little earlier this year, having beaten last year’s county champions O’Loughlin Gaels in the provincial final, and beat them convincingly. And already this year the reigning All Ireland Champions look poised to take on all comers as the bookies put them at 2/5 on to beat Dicksboro this Sunday.

There is sure to be the Dalkey Roar from the Cuala Ultras this weekend in Donnycarney HQ, and no doubt fans from rival clubs will come together as always to support a Dublin side in the Club Championship.
