GER CUNNINGHAM CONFIRMS 2017 HURLING MANAGEMENT TEAM

Dublin senior hurling manager Ger Cunningham yesterday announced his backroom team for 2017.

The current senior selectors, Liam Walsh and Patsy Morrissey will be joined by former Minor Hurling manager Johnny McGuirk. Johnny will also have responsibility for the U21 Hurling Team.

Cork native, and manager’s namesake Ger Cunningham, has been appointed as the team’s new coach. Ger has previously coached Newtownshandrum, Thurles Sarsfields, University of Limerick and Laois.

Former Kilkenny goalkeeper and newly appointed Dublin Senior Camogie manager David Herity has been named as the senior hurling goalkeeping coach.

Bryan Cullen, Dublin’s GAA High Performance Manager, will oversee the teams’ physical development.
