2016 was some year for the Cuala Senior Hurling team as they retained their Dublin Senior Hurling Championship and the Division 1 Dublin Senior Hurling League titles.

The unbelievable year though didn’t end there as they won the AIB Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship for the first time in the club’s history back in December.

Next up for the Dalkey outfit Cuala is an All-Ireland Semi-Final on the 25th of February against Slaughtneil.

As you can well imagine all this success does come at a huge financial cost for any club and to help Cuala reach the maximum potential and assist them in their quest for an All Ireland title.

With that in mind the Club are holding two fundraising events.

The first of those is a Table Quiz in The Club Lounge on the 16th of February at 8.30pm with the price for a table of four just €40.

Then the next day the second fundraiser will take place. It is a Golf Classic at the highly rated Powerscourt Golf Club on Friday the 17th of February @ 12 noon for a Shotgun start.

Details of the event are as follows:

* 4-person team: €400
* Sponsorship of a hole / green €150
* Team and hole / green sponsorship          €500

Food will be served to all golfers after the event upstairs in the Powerscourt Clubhouse which looks out on to the 9th & 18th Greens.

The Club would be delighted to see as many people as possible there on the day as the atmosphere starts to build towards the All Ireland Semi-Final the following week.
