Well the first week of action has come and gone and we’re already into week two. It feels like we’ve never been away. Some great games to take in this weekend.
Parnell Park will be the venue once again on Sunday, as our Senior Hurlers take part in the Semi Final of this year’s Walsh Cup. They’ll face a tough task in Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford side. Throw in for this one is 2:00pm
At the same time David Herity’s Senior Camogie panel will start their Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie League campaign. Their first Division 1 game is on the road as the team travel to Rathkeale to face Limerick in their opening round game. Throw in again is 2:00pm
Sunday will also celebrate the best in Ladies Football as the New Ireland Assurance Dub Stars games take place in DCU. At 11:30am two Junior Dub Stars Panels (Blue v Navy) will take each other on. And 1:30pm it’s the turn of the Senior Dub Stars who’ll also take on an Inter County selection for a challenge. Two great games that are always entertaining. Admission is free for all and there will be a bucket collection to raise money for “Gaelic Voices For Change” on the day.
Four games in one day. Best of luck to all teams involved.
