The Setanta Club’s story is really a wonderful one.

Between winning Féile na nGael in Croke Park and earning All-Ireland medals and being home to Dublin Senior County players, to being the only GAA club in the world to have both traditional music, and an orchestra, Setanta GAA epitomises community spirit and highlights the desire of each member to grow their small club and help future members develop a similar “grá” for hurling.

Dublin players like Hurler Fionntain MacGib explain what this Ballymun club means to them, while co-founder Prionsias O’Conghaile gives us an insight into the roots of this club foundation, to bring something more to the kids of the area after school. Setanta is certainly a club with massive community spirit.
