Can the Dublin Senior Hurlers record a second win on the bounce facing Tipperary at Croke Park tomorrow night?

Dublin Senior Hurling Starting 15 v Tipperary

Dublin v Tipperary
Allianz National Hurling Division 1B
Saturday, February 25th. 5:00pm
Croke Park, Dublin

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in Dublin’s 2 opening National Hurling League games so far is there is a lot of fight in the dog. And Micheál Donoghue can certainly be pleased with the progress the panel are making under his guidance. We’ve been entertained by a 2-19 to 3-16 draw in their opener with Waterford at Fragher Field. And despite a late charge from Antrim in their last game, Dublin are showing signs of seeing out games and racking up some nice scores.

Tomorrow night they’ll need to take another step up a rung when they welcome Tipperary to Croke Park for their 3rd round game. The Munster men are unbeaten with comprehensive wins over Laois and Kilkenny ahead of this tie, and with Championship experience they’ll not fear an early trip to GAA Headquarters.

Donoghue has named his starting 15 to go head to head with Tipperary in this huge league game. And there are six changes.

Sean Brennan, Andrew Dunphy, James Madden, Danny Sutcliffe, Alex Considine and Cillian Costello all come into the starting 15 from the side that started against Antrim last time out.

They replace Eddie Gibbons, John Bellew, Aidan Mellett, Donal Leavy, Liam Murphy and Paul Crummey.
