For Cuala Senior Hurling forward, and of course Dublin Senior Footballer Con O’Callaghan, the plaudits just keep coming.
And now the young dual player has been voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week following another polished attacking performance against Liam Mellows at Semple Stadium on Saturday.
O’Callaghan received a massive 6,399 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page with Na Piarsaigh’s Ronan Lynch second and Slaughtneil’s Brian Cassidy third.
GAA.ie Hurler of the Week
1: Con O’Callaghan (Cuala) – 6,399 votes
2: Ronan Lynch (Na Piarsaigh) – 2,901 votes
3: Brian Cassidy (Slaughtneil) – 2,762 votes
O’Callaghan was once again at the heart of Cuala’s attacking play in Semple Stadium contributing four points from play against Liam Mellows.
Con caused the Galway outfit plenty of problems throughout the match and remains a potent full forward for Mattie Kenny’s accomplished team.
