Following Wednesday defeat against UCD, Dublin’s Senior Footballers will make the trip to Enniscorthy this Sunday for the final round game in this year’s Bord Na Mona O’Byrne Cup.
Wexford and UCD are level on 3 points each after 2 games. They drew against each other in a tough opening round game. Wexford beat DCU on Wednesday, putting the college men out of the competition. So they’ll want to win as much as Dublin do this weekend.
Dublin need to win this last game, and need the result between UCD and DCU to go in their favour to have a chance to advance to the semi finals, which isn’t impossible, but is a tall order.

Should things go Dublin’s way this weekend, they can then recall any panel members playing for college teams in the group stage to bolster their chances in the knockout phases.
The winners of Group 1 will meet the winners of Group 2 in this year’s Semi Finals. The group consists of Kildare, Offaly, Longford and IT Carlow.
