Whelan In The Years - Kieran Duff

There have been some legendary figure throughout the year who’ve pulled on the blue of Dublin, but none quite like the living legend Kieran Duff.

In the latest episode of the Dublin GAA Podcast “Whelan In The Years”, Ciaran Whelan talks candidly to one of Dublin’s all time top scorers about his career, spanning thirteen years.

The Fingallians man explains how much the game has changed so much over the years, the change in physicality, the style, the pace. Kieran talks about the great Kevin Heffernan and what he brought to Dublin GAA.

A late starter to Gaelic Football, Kieran was a soccer player until he moved from Primary School to Swords Vocational School in 1974 where he started on their under 14 team, Dublin won the All Ireland and Duff was in love, and joined Fingallians.

In his illustrious career, Kieran scored 22 Goals and 227 points in the Dublin Jersey over 79 League Games and 39 Championship games and is the eight top Dublin scorer of all time, among some legendary names.
