Most people would have just been engrossed by the whole day last Sunday, and for a quite a few it would be all a blur. Some will have watched back the Sunday Game on RTÉ to pull it apart and analyse every minute. The ups and down, the own goals and the physicality.

But least we forget that despite the weather and how the game unfolded there were some very special scores on the day from both sides.

This episode of the GAA Super Scores showcases some of the best scoring moments from Sunday afternoon in Croke Park.

Dublin’s Paddy Andrews has both his scores chosen and they’re truly deserving, while Dean Rock, John Small, and Diarmuid Connolly all showed the range and ability to get balls over the bar.

For Mayo, the scores from Jason Doherty, Andy Moran, Alan Dillon, Donal Vaughan and of Cillian O’Connor’s match levelling point are all on display.
