Yesterday afternoon, gealic football fans witnessed one of the greatest matches of the modern game. Dublin v Kerry always delivers and the atmosphere was electric in Croke Park for this year’s All Ireland Semi Final meeting of these two sides.
The game had everything and was overflowing with scores from all over the field. The skill of all involved was a pleasure to watch. But once again, Diarmuid Connolly showed the world why is one of the best forwards in the game.
The St. Vincents man bookended the game with both the opening and closing score, with a third in between. These three scores from play are a masterclass on how to score points. And shooting two off his right and one off his left, Connolly continues to wow fans in every game with his skill and diversity.
