More live action confirmed as TG4 and EirSport publish details of their Spring TV Schedules

EirSport and TG4 Schedules

There’s literally only a couple of weeks away from the start of the various National League Campaigns in all four codes. And by the weekend of February 2nd and 3rd Dublin’s four senior panels, in Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football will be up and running.

And now is as good a time as any to start penciling in the games the fans will be watching and recording on the TV for the coming months. National Irish Broadcaster TG4 and Ireland Digital Sports platform EirSport have announced their schedules for the Spring. And there’s a plethora of action across a wide range of competitions.

TG4 will broadcast as many as 40 games between now and April and Dublin fans can start following the action this coming Friday as the Irish language channel will be live in Parnell park for this year’s O’Byrne Cup Final clash with Westmeath. Their National League coverage gets underway on Sunday January 27th with Dublin’s opening Division 1 Football fixture against Monaghan in Clones.

Continuing to be the home of live and exclusive coverage of all major finals, TG4 will again broadcast the Allianz League Finals in Football and Hurling, along with the AIB All Ireland Club Championships. And beginning on February 3rd, GAA Beo will show three Allianz League games in full every Sunday.

EirSport add Ladies Football to their schedule

Complimenting TG4, EirSport today announced details of their Spring schedule of Allianz League fixtures, and have added two games from this year’s Lidl Ladies National Football league. Dublin fans will be able to enjoy the All Ireland Champions clashes with both Donegal and Mayo live from Croke Park. Coverage gets underway on January 26th with Tipperary facing Clare in the National Hurling League, and Mayo and Roscommon squaring off in the National Football League.

The weekend after will see the first of Dublin’s double headers broadcast from Croke Park, with Mick Bohan’s All Ireland winning Senior Ladies facing Donegal. And after that Jim Gavin starts the Senior Footballers League campaign off against Galway. This is one of four games Dublin will feature in on EirSport, with the games against Kerry, Mayo and Tyrone also being broadcast.
