It’s the last Super 8’s clash for Dublin as they face Roscommon in Croke Park
Dublin v Roscommon
Sunday, August 5th. 3:30pm
Croke Park Dublin
This Sunday, the Dublin Senior Footballers will return to Croke Park for the last phase in this year’s All Ireland Senior Football Super 8’s competition. Roscommon come to the capital as Dublin’s opponents. At the same time Tyrone travel to Ballybofey to face Donegal.
For Jim Gavin’s men, they’re already two for two and have secured their Semi Final slot no matter the outcome this Sunday. But Tyrone and Donegal have only one victory each, both beating Roscommon, so the winner of that game will take the second Semi Final slot.
In terms of the potential opponents from the other group, things are a little different. Galway, like Dublin are two for two, and they’ll meet Monaghan this weekend. For Monaghan a win or a draw will secure a knock out slot. Kerry need to beat Kildare and rely on Monaghan losing, and score difference, otherwise they’re out.
