Tyrone v Dublin
Saturday, July 21st. 7:00pm
Healy Park, Omagh

With both Dublin and Tyrone successful in Phase 1 of the Super 8’s last weekend, it just makes tonight’s game all that more enticing as Healy Park hosts the next game in the 2018 All Ireland Series. Donegal and Roscommon will be looking to get off the mark in Dr Hyde Park at 5:00pm but all eyes will be on Omagh, where there have been many an eventful over the years.

For Dublin, they come to town off the back of a five point victory over Donegal, but didn’t exactly reach their usual standards. Many believe that’s not something that happens twice and Dublin boss Jim Gavin will have diligently scrutinised last weekend’s game to plug the gaps.

The boys in blue have already been to Omagh in 2018, back on a cold February night in the National League. Tyrone looked more than up for the fight and made a fine start to lead at halftime, but Jim Gavin’s men, as they so often do, turned on the style in a superb second half show to run out five point winners.

Tyrone will not want a repeat of that night, nor a repeat of last year’s All Ireland Semi Final, with Dublin winning very comfortably on 2-17 to 0-11. They’ll find some comfort in hosting the game on home soil but will it be enough if Dublin find their form?
