New kid Niall Scully takes the quick fire On The Spot questions ahead of the All Ireland Final

This year’s All Ireland Senior Football Final between Dublin and Tyrone is getting closer and closer. Can Dublin pull off the four in a row? Can Jim Gavin’s men become the most successful football team in the modern game? Do you have a ticket for the game? On a scale of 1 to 100, just how excited are you about September 2nd in Croke Park?

Questions, questions, questions. But none like the regular batch from DUBSTV for their “On The Spot” series. And this time around it’s the turn of new boy, Templogue Synge Street’s Niall Scully.

Like Brian Howard this year, Niall was definitely Jim Gavin’s find of 2017. And since the Leinster Quarter Final between Dublin and Carlow in O’Moore Park Niall has rarely missed a game. With some similar traits to his team mate James McCarthy, Scully is a hard runner  and powerful attacker who has become a real favourite among the Dublin football fans. But none of that is why we’re here.

Yes, the regular and trusted line of questioning comes to the fore again, and we’ll find out what Niall’s favourite fruit is, his favourite type of music, and of course we’ll find out if like most of the other senior footballers who have been questioned, he decides to pick Jack McCaffrey as the fastest member of the team.

But what is his favourite game as a spectator? Who is his sporting hero? And who is the worst dressed Dublin player? You’ll find out when you watch the latest installment of DUBSTV’s On The Spot.
