The Groups for this year’s Bord Na Mona O’Byrne and Walsh Cup competitions have been confirmed.
Both competitions will start earlier this year on December 30th, however Dublin’s involvement in the competitions will not begin until January 3rd.
In the O’Byrne Cup, reigning champions Dublin have been drawn in Group 1 with Offaly and Wexford and will play their games on January 3rd and January 7th. The Semi Finals will take place on January 13th/14th with the Final to be played on either the 20th or 21st.
In this year’s Walsh Cup, Pat Gilroy’s Dublin panel have been drawn in Group 3 along with Antrim and Meath and will also play their games on January 3rd and January 7th. The Semi Finals will take place on January 14th with the Final to be played on the 21st.

Group 1: Dublin, Offaly, Wexford
Group 2: Kildare, Louth, Longford
Group 3: Meath, Carlow, Wicklow
Group 4: Westmeath, Laois
Format: Round robin with first placed teams advancing to semi-finals.
Westmeath and Laois play each other home and away with aggregate score deciding who tops Group 4.
Dates: Dec 30th, Jan 3rd, Jan 7th. Semi-finals: Jan 13th/14th. Final: Jan 20th/21st.
