Dublin will face Donegal in next Saturday’s All Ireland Quarter Final in Croke Park at 6pm after the men from the northwest beat Cork today by 0-21 to 1-15.

Memories of 2014 will come flooding back for both sides and both sets of supporters and Donegal will be hoping to pull off another ambush of the Dubs next weekend.

But Jim Gavin’s men are a totally different team since that encounter and the defending champions won’t be caught on the counter attack as they were that day.

Donegal looked very lethargic I the opening half of today’s game against Cork and after a tough Ulster Campaign and only a seven day turnaround to the quarter final, fatigue might be a factor next weekend for Donegal.

Dublin will be expecting a tough, dour affair next Saturday and it will be the first real test the boys in blue will have encountered so far in the championship.

Any question marks over Dublin’s defence or their hunger levels will surely be answered and if they come through that test it will set them up perfectly for the semi-finals.
