Jim Gavin’s charges go in a search of a sixth Leinster title in a row on Sunday when they face Westmeath in Croke.
If they achieve victory on Sunday then they will equal the record of the great Kevin Heffernan Dublin side of the 70’s and they will be immortalised as six in a row Leinster Champions and stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Mullins, Hanahoe, Keavney and Cullen.
Heffo’s Dublin side did their six in a row between 1974 and 1979, Kevin was in charge for four of them, 74, 75, 76 and 79, Tony Hanahoe was in charge for the other two in 77 and 78. Below is the results of each of those Leinster Finals.
