Wins for Kilmacud, Cuala and Vincents in the all county Dublin Intermediate Football Championship.
Round 2 of this year’s All County Dublin Intermediate Football Championship took place yesterday evening with five games in total down for decision.
In Group 1 Kilmacud Crokes got their second win of the competition under their belts, beating Thomas Davis 4-25 to 4-03. Ballyboden St. Endas and St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh played out a 2-08 a piece draw in Group 2. After losing to Ballymun in Round 1, Cuala got their championship back on track, beating Erins Isle 6-23 to 0-03 in Group 3. And finally in Group 4, St.Vincents followed up their opening round defeat to St. Judes with a 4-14 to 2-08 win over Lucan Sarsfields, and St. Judes themselves were held to a 1-12 to 0-15 draw against Na Fianna.
With the competition now breaking to allow the Inter County championships to take place, they reconvene on Saturday, September 15th for the final rounds before the knockout phase of the competition.
