Wednesday April 12th 2023
Meath v Dublin
Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship Round 2
Pairc Tailteann, Navan. 6:30pm

The Dublin Minor Footballers got off to a winning start last week, beating Louth in their Leinster opener by 1-15 to 1-10. They’d built up a 6 point advantage at half time and put themselves in the best position to get over the line.

Louth to their credit trimmed that defiit to a single point by the 47th minute. But they never managed to draw level and Dublin regrouped to bring home the win by the eventual 5 point margin.

Tomorrow night they head for Navan to face Meath, who also got off to a winning start in their campaign. Last week they headed for Kinnegad and saw off home side Westmeath by 2-10 to 0-10. We can expect a very competitive game tomorrow evening at Pairc Tailteann.

Meath v Dublin
Leinster Minor Ladies Football Championship Round 2
Sryne GAA, Tara. 7:30pm

Dublin’s Minor Ladies Football panel will dust themselves off after a defeat in their opener last week when they head for Skryne GAA tomorrow evening also facing Meath just like the Minor men’s panel.

Last week they came up short against a Longford side who fielded ten of their winning Leinster Minor side from last season. They led by 0-05 to 0-04 at the half time break but Longford edged the contest on the restart.

Dublin will regroup tomorrow night and hopefully secure a win before their final game against Kildare next week.

Saturday April 15th 2023
Dublin v Wexford
O’Neills.com Leinster U20 Hurling Championship Round 2

The U20 hurlers couldn’t have got off to a better start last week. Any victory over Galway in Leinster is one to be savoured. And the Dubs produced a solid second half performance to secure a 2 point win over the Tribesmen on a 1-19 to 1-17 scoreline.

Despite trailing by 9 points at one point on the game Dublin never let their heads drop. And with the wind at their backs they took advantage in teh second half to outscore their opponents and nick the win.

This weekend they’ll welcome Wexford to Parnell Park. Wexford pulled off a 3 point win over Kilkenny on home soil. Their 2-17 to 0-20 win takes them into this game to face the unbeaten Dublin panel.

Sunday April 16th 2023
Kilkenny v Dublin
Electric Ireland Minor Camogie Championship Round 5
Venue & Throw in time TBC

While we haven’t seen a victory, Dublin have held their heads high in the All Ireland Minor Camogie Championship. And this weekend should be no different. And it’s a tough task for the girls in blue on Sunday as they head for Kilkenny.

Kilkenny have won 2 and drawn one of their 4 games to date, only losing to Galway in Round 2. They sit below Galway and Cork in the Minor A table with both those sides facing each other. So if they beat Dublin and Galway beat Cork, Kilkenny will make it to the decider.
