The Dublin County Board have today notified Parnell Pass members of their plans for the scheme in 2022
Earlier today the Dublin County Board contacted members of their Parnell Pass Season Ticket Scheme. This will have been the first update in some time with plans for the 2022 season.
The very popular ticket scheme took a back seat in 2020 and last year as the country endured endless restrictions and reduced capacity events as a result of COVID 19. And as such the county board took the decision to not run the scheme until such time as there was more certainty on future games and events. The pass allows members priority access to both Senior Football & Hurling games throughout the league and championship season.
The below statement was released and sent via email to member of the Parnell Pass scheme today.
It is our intention to relaunch the Parnell Park Scheme for 2022 on a calendar-year basis.
Dublin GAA has been working with Ticketmaster to implement a new system for the Parnell Park scheme for the last few months. And we are confident that the new system will be beneficial to our members.
While we are ready to relaunch the scheme and had planned to do this pre-Christmas, we felt that with the reintroduction of capacity limits for outdoor sporting events we had no alternative but to postpone the relaunch.
Dublin GAA are continuing to monitor the Government and GAA guidance to assess how this impacts on the operation of the scheme in a fair and transparent manner for our members.
The Parnell Pass scheme will reopen to existing members only. There will be no new or additional passes available to purchase.
A further update will be provided by email by January 25th.
As we get more information we’ll keep you up to date.
