Jim Gavin’s Senior Footballers will raise the curtain on this year’s Championship coverage on Sky Sports.

The broadcaster confirmed earlier today that they will be televising 14 exclusive matches this summer.

The Dublin footballers will be first out for their Leinster quarter-final on Saturday 3rd of June against Wexford or Carlow, just like they were 12 months ago for their Nowlan Park clash against Laois.

Then on Sunday 4th of June, history will be made as Sky Sports will televise a Munster hurling clash for the first time when Clare take on Limerick.

They will also be providing live coverage of reigning Leinster champions Kilkenny’s first game when they face Wexford or Laois in a provincial semi-final the following Saturday 10th of June.

Analysis will be provided this summer from Jim McGuinness, Peter Canavan, James Horan, Jamesie O’Connor, JJ Delaney, Ollie Canning and new addition Dick Clerkin.

Rachel Wyse and Brian Carney will return to present the coverage with commentary and reporting coming from Nicky English, Paul Earley, Dave McIntyre, Mike Finnerty and Damian Lawlor.
