We’ve an action packed Saturday ahead as we’ll have live updates from 3 of the 5 Inter County fixtures
Saturday, February 25th 2023
Well if things started off in the various National league campaigns at a snail’s pace, today they shift gears. As many as five games will throw in across Football, Hurling, Ladies Football and Camogie. We’d absolutely love to be in place for all of them. But we’re spreading our time to bring you live updates from three of the five throw ins.
Starting off the day we’ll have live updates from Parnell Park as Dublin’s Senior Camogie panel will look to lift themselves up after their opening day defeat. The girls in blue return home from their trip to Cork. And will hope home advantage gets them their first points on the board. They face a Tipperary side who saw off Galway by a three goal advantage in their opener. So it’s a huge game for Dublin, but one they can certainly get a result from.
From there we make the quick trip up Griffith Avenue to DCU St. Clare’s where Mick Bohan’s Senior Panel will welcome Mayo for their next LIDL NFL encounter. And for Dublin to stay in the running for a place in this year’s league decider, they’ll need a positive result. The girls currently sit in 4th position with Mayo in 7th. They’ve a 50% return from the first four games and will target this fixture to make a move up the Division 1 table. We’ll have updates from throw in at 4:30pm
Finally we’ll spin down to Croke Park for the 7:00pm throw in with Dessie Farrell’s Dublin Senior Football panel facing Clare in Round 4 of their Division 2 National League Campaign. The Dubs are three for three in a very competitive campaign and it’s no surprise the boys in blue have the target firmly fixed on their heads. With so much at stake we’ve seen them run close already on 2 occasions. Dublin are sitting joint leaders with Derry at the top of the table and will be hoping to score another win tonight before their trip over the border next weekend.
